Community Council Meeting Minutes

March 2nd, 2017

1. In attendance: Nicole McGarry, Seth Robinson, Melanie Wilhelmsen, Amy Rich, Jenn Hansen, Rick Proffer, and Jessica Volpe
2. Rick Proffer reviewed a draft of the Burch Creek Trustlands Plan 2017-2018.  There will be two goals, one for reading/writing and one for math.  Trustlands money will be used to provide aide support and technology.  
3. The Burch Creek Community Council voted on the 2017-2018 Trustland Plan.  Nicole McGarry motioned to accept the plan.  Jessica Volpe seconded the motion.  The council voted and all were in favor of accepting the proposed plan. 
4. The Community Council discussed spring elections.  As per official guidelines found at schoollandtrust.org, it was determined that elections do not need to be held this spring.  Membership terms are for two years and all current members of the council have only been serving on Burch Creek Community Council for the 2016-2017 school year. 
5. Nicole McGarry motioned to end the meeting.  Rick Proffer seconded the motion.  All were in favor and the meeting was adjourned.
