        1. Large amount of students identified as struggling
          1. 20-40 after 1st Quarter
        2. Improvements! Quicker to identify and quicker to deploy resources!
      6. Demographics:
        1. Student Population about 560 - down from about 575 (as of September 2021 Community Council Meeting)
        2. Ethnic Minority 32%
        3. ELL 10%
      7. TITLE 1 Plan available to ALL - including Assessments, Demographics and Climate
      8. School SMART Goals for Student Learning:
        1. 20% Growth beginning to end of year
        2. ERI’s - Early Reading Interventions
          1. The correlation between Kindergarten ATTENDANCE and Reading - INCREASING
            1. DJ Frandsen asked that this correlation be tracked for more solid stats
        3. COVID Fallout - deploying resources to fill in the gaps
      9. Leader In Me School
        1. Transition from school focused to extend to the family - FAMILY CHALLENGE
      10. Discussion about having just ONE school improvement plan with all resources aligned and in common language.
  3. Watch DOGS follow up in subsequent council meeting with Jenn Hansen (PTA over WatchDOGS) present to assist with discussion and planning.
