Meeting Minutes

Covid related discussions proactive about finding holes in tutoring/learning. Used funds to give teachers budget for helping kids get caught up. Helping fill in gaps.

Rise Testing is still on for the year. Hard on kids, teachers, staff. Academics are behind and will take years to get them all caught up. Many haven’t logged into online school this year.

Students who have no trace. No show in person/online. How will some kids move forward to the next school year? 700 kids in Weber District that are missing in action. 30-40 in Burch Creekd.

We may need to change plans/ amend our plan to allocate funds to help whatever we will be facing.

Extra title one funds, family advocate position. Tries to make families functional and kids in school, whether online or in class. Aide already helping with chronically absent kids.

Very few behavior issues with kids. Feel safe. More compliance.

Internet safety. Protect online- org that provides information to families/parents for filtering internet. Jessica will research/contact person to be compliant.

Vaccination- make sure people have good information from credible sources so we can get to the threshold for herd immunity.
