Meeting Minutes

II. The 2021-2022 Trustlands Plans draft was reviewed in detail by council. Many of the budget is very similar to last year. This is partly because of the Esser Funds coming to help with deficit. School may use this for tutoring, after school programs etc.

Draft Plan was proposed to be accepted by Nicole McGary and all approved.

III. Covid related discussion. Mostly comprised of discussing where students are academically. Dibels scores are not radically lower. They’re the same or higher than expected. Teachers have done an amazing job to catch students up, and work through hard circumstances. Each grade had 1 aide this year as opposed to the aides floating to other grades, aside from 2nd grade. This had good results, so school may consider that in the future.

IV. Midblock Monroe school crossing for South Ogden City Council. Council has proposed that the cross walk be eliminated. It would be moved to the 4 way stop intersection. Community council agrees with this plan. It was brought up that a crossing guard would be very helpful at that intersection.

V. Internet safety was pushed back for this year.

Students, teachers and staff have handled Covid protocols incredibly and created a great learning environment and given kids a piece of normalcy this year.
