The Barracudas at Burch Creek Elementary had an exciting opportunity to welcome two amazing authors, Thal Dixon and Jennifer A. Nielsen, to our school!

During their visits, the authors shared their knowledge and taught students important skills to become better writers. We learned that writing takes creativity, practice, and imagination. Their advice inspired us to use our ideas, improve our writing, and tell stories that others will enjoy reading.

To make the visits even more special, the authors donated autographed books to our school! These books will inspire students to read more and discover new stories.

We are grateful to Thal Dixon and Jennifer A. Nielsen for sharing their love of writing and helping our Barracudas grow as readers and writers!
