Dear Superintendent Ms. Butters and Weber School District Staff,
Thank you so much for coming to Burch Creek Elementary and reading a story to us. We really appreciate you taking the time to visit us and share a story that taught us so much.

August 3, 2026- Annual enrollment for opens on PowerSchool.
August 14, 2026- Teacher assignments available on PowerSchool.
August 20, 2026- Back to school Night 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
August 24, 2026- First Day of school (Early Release at 12:20 pm)

Seeing our students laughing, cheering, working together, and making memories on the field is something we truly miss. These moments remind us how special our Burch Creek community is and how much joy our students bring to our school each day.
We hope our Barracudas are having an amazing summer filled with fun, adventure, and plenty of time to relax. We can’t wait to see everyone back and make more memories together on AUGUST 24!!

Burch Creek Elementary’s sixth graders reached for the stars as they designed, built, and launched their own rockets while exploring the science of space flight. Through this hands-on experience, students learned about angles, height, and trajectory, combining math and science in an exciting real-world challenge. The project sparked curiosity, teamwork, and a deeper appreciation for the wonders of space exploration.
At Burch Creek Elementary, we proudly honored America’s 250th birthday through music, art, learning, and patriotism. Each grade came together to perform classic American songs and the National Anthem, while our halls were filled with creative projects and activities celebrating our nation’s history and spirit. We are grateful to live in this great country and proud to be Americans.
We had an incredible experience at Burch Creek Elementary last Friday as we welcomed author and illustrator Ashley Wolff to visit our Barracudas!
She inspired our students with meaningful lessons about perseverance, the importance of practicing to reach your goals, and dreaming big. Our students were engaged, motivated, and learned so much from her visit.
We are truly grateful for the opportunity to learn from such a talented guest—thank you, Ashley Wolff, for an unforgettable day!
